The East Isles neighborhood of South Minneapolis is a wonderful, vibrant and highly sought-after community within what is known as the 'chain of lakes area' of Minneapolis. Technically speaking, East Isles does fit into the larger Uptown Neighborhood community, and thus is very conveniently located right between Lake of the Isles and Hennepin Avenue.

The geographic boundaries of the East Isles neighborhood of Minneapolis are 22nd Street W on the North side, Lake Street on the South Side, Lake of the Isles on the West side and over to Hennepin Avenue on the East.

East Isles also has several very good grade schools and high schools within close proximity, both public and private.
